Diane Mecham, President

Student of metaphysics and esoterica for many decades. She is primarily attracted to Shamanism, the oldest spiritual practice. An animist, I believe there is life contained in all things and therefore consciousness and intelligence in all things. She has studied with Charles Lightwalker, a Metis Shaman for several years as an apprentice. She is a Reiki I & II practitioner, soon to add level III. She is also a Medical Intuitive. Sound healing, crystal healing, kinesiology (muscle testing) are tools she employs in her work. An intuitive, she offers counsel according to the wisdom she receives. She is a card reader, whether it’s Tarot, Oracle, Angel or other. She assists people to discover their Animal Totems. She uses a pendulum often to assist with her readings. She has studied Astrology, Numerology, Kabbalah. She is unendingly curious about the Universe and The Great Mystery. She has been influenced by so many great teachers such as: Neale Donald Walsh, Eckhart Tolle, Louis Hay, Lee Carroll-Kryon, Paramahansa Yogananda, Anita Moorjani, Dr. Joe Dispenza, and many many more. Meditation practice and ceremony are important components of my journey.

The Hebrew definition of the name Carmen is “song” and certainly, Carmen Hodges has lived up to the name.  Born with music in her soul, Carmen began writing songs in her early teens.  By age 20 she had formed a band and was involved in the music industry for most of her life.  Today you can often find her at the Valley Spiritual Center’s Sunday service spinning familiar melodies sometimes accompanied with her own improvised lyrics.  A lover of the arts, books and the spiritual path, it could be said that Carmen is delivering a prayer while telling a story with every song she sings.
